1. Services
Dallas Appliance Repair Co. provides appliance repair services across the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. Our services include diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of major household appliances including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, ice makers, microwaves, and wine coolers. We service all major brands and select premium brands including Sub-Zero, Viking, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, and JennAir.
2. Pricing
Our pricing structure is:
- Video diagnosis: $30 for a 15-minute video consultation with a technician. Credited toward in-home visit if you proceed.
- In-home service visit: $90, waived completely if you proceed with the recommended repair.
- Repair pricing: Flat-rate quote provided before any work begins. Includes parts and labor.
- Warranty: 365 days on parts and labor, covering the specific repair performed.
All prices are quoted in US dollars and are subject to Texas state sales tax where applicable. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, and checks.
3. Warranty
Our 365-day warranty covers:
- The specific part(s) replaced during the original repair
- The labor associated with that part's installation
- Failed parts from the same manufacturer (at our discretion)
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
- Damage from power surges, lightning, or acts of God
- Issues unrelated to the original repair
- Appliances used in commercial settings (different warranty applies)
- Cosmetic damage
To request warranty service, call us at (214) 555-0142 with your original invoice number. We'll schedule a return visit at no charge if the issue is covered.
4. Cancellation policy
You can cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge with at least 2 hours notice. Cancellations within 2 hours of the appointment window, or no-show appointments, may be subject to a $45 trip fee. To cancel, call (214) 555-0142 or reply to your confirmation text.
5. Payment terms
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, and checks. For repairs over $400, we offer 0% APR financing for 6 months through Affirm — ask your technician for details.
6. Customer responsibilities
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance
- Provide accurate information about the appliance and the problem
- Ensure pets are secured before the technician arrives
- Be present (or have a representative 18+ present) during the service visit
- Approve the repair quote before any work begins
7. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair performed. We are not liable for consequential damages including but not limited to food spoilage, time off work, alternative accommodation, or damage to property not directly caused by our technicians. Our technicians carry general liability insurance for direct damage caused during service.
8. Licenses & insurance
We are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR #TACLB83217), BBB accredited with an A+ rating, EPA 608 Universal certified for refrigerant handling, and carry full general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Certificates available on request.
9. Dispute resolution
Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication with our owner, Miguel Hernandez, at service@dallas-appliance.com or (214) 555-0142. If unresolved, disputes will be arbitrated in Dallas County, Texas under Texas law.
